The Varsity Quiz Bowl team competed at the Monroe City Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 24. The team went 2 for 3 on the day, beating Macon A (260-140) and Macon B (190-90) and losing to North Shelby (120-230). Mason Haddock led the scoring with 24 tossups on the day (240 points). He was followed by Jesús Ramos with 15 tossups (150 points), Alex Jones with 5 tossups (50 points), and Chayse Hepler with 2 tossups for 20 points. Also, Mason Haddock earned an individual medal and a spot on the All-Tournament team. He had the 4th highest number of correct tossup questions answered. Congratulations!
