JV BULLDOGS GET A HUGE WIN ON THE ROAD

The Louisiana Junior Varsity Bulldogs (3-0) traveled to Clopton High School and defeated the Indians 44-24.  The Indians struck first, scoring on their opening drive on a long touchdown pass.  The Bulldogs took it personally and held Clopton scoreless until the fourth quarter.  Offensively, the Bulldogs were on fire scoring on 3 out of their next 5 possessions before half, 22-8.  In the second half, Taybren Campbell widened the margin by recovering an Indian fumble and returning it for 6.   In the fourth quarter, Louisiana put a few of their athletes in different positions to gain some game experience.  Clopton was able to take advantage with two scores at the end of regulation.   It was a total team effort for the dogs with everyone contributing big minutes.  The JV Bulldogs will play host to the visiting Mark Twain Tigers Monday, September 15^th at Cunningham Field.
