The Louisiana Lady Bulldogs hosted the Centralia Lady Panthers in a CCC matchup on Thursday September 4^th at Wallace Memorial Park.  Louisiana kept Centralia scoreless through the first 2 innings.  Centralia broke out in the top of the 3^rd for 4 runs.  The Lady Panthers would add another run in the top of the 4^th and 5 more in the top of the 5^th.  Offensively, the Lady Bulldogs couldn’t get anything started at the plate against Centralia’s pitcher.  Kaitlyn VanHooser led the game off with a double, which would wind up being one of Louisiana’s 2 hits on the night.  VanHooser pitched 4 innings for Louisiana, giving up 5 runs with only 1 being earned.  She struck out 2 Centralia batters and walked one.  Senior Ashley Martin came on in relief in the top of the 5^th.  The Lady Dawgs will look to rebound on Monday September 8^th as the host non-conference rival Silex at Wallace Memorial Park.  Game time will be 5 PM with the varsity squad playing first followed by JV action.
