The Louisiana Lady Bulldogs pulled came back from a 3-0 deficit on Tuesday September 23^rd in a CCC matchup with the Clark County Lady Indians to pick up their 2^nd conference win of the season.  Clark County jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first and added an additional run in the bottom of the 3^rd.  Louisiana had good hits throughout the first 4 innings, but couldn’t seem to string anything together to get runs on the board.  Finally in the top of the 5^th the Lady Dawgs got the spark they needed as 2 runs came across thanks in part to an RBI double from Molly Ross.  The score would remain 3-2 until the top of the 7^th when Samantha Pedersen would reach 1^st on a 1 out single.  Allison Lawson entered then as a pinch runner.  Raelee Burse would ground out advancing Lawson to 2^nd.  Molly Ross would then come up big again as she hit a line drive double to score Lawson and tie the game.  Molly advanced to third when the throw to home would get away from the catcher.  Samantha Henderson then hit a high fly ball that would be dropped by Clark County’s 2^nd baseman to score the winning run.  The Bulldogs were paced at the plate by Raelee Burse’s 3-4 performance.  Molly Ross would also add 2 hits of her own on the night and get 2 RBI’s.  Samantha Pedersen continued to swing a hot bat adding 2 singles.  Kaitlyn VanHooser would pick up the win, going 7 innings.  She allowed 3 runs on 6 hits.  She would strike out 5 and walk 5 on the evening.  The Lady Dawgs’ next game will be on Thursday September 25^th as they play host to Highland in a CCC match up.  JV will play first starting at 5 PM.  On Saturday September 27^th, the Bulldogs will travel to Montgomery County to participate in the Wildcat Fall Classic.  The Bulldogs enter as the 4^th seed and will start play at 10 AM against Hannibal.  Check Bulldogactivities.org for tournament information.
