The Louisiana JV Lady Dawgs took on Palmyra on September 2^nd.  Due to heat cancellations in the first week of the season, this was the first contest for Louisiana.  Nerves seemed to get to the Lady Bulldogs in the bottom of the 1^st, as Palmyra was able to score 5 runs in the inning.  After the first, Louisiana was able to settle down and held Palmyra scoreless until the 4^th.  Elise Dewey and Olivia Capstick pitched for Louisiana on the evening.
